A smarter upgrade order

Priority list for Prison, Temple, Workshop, and Worshipper Infusion to maximize power without wasting materials.

Upgrade the constraint

Find the constraint that prevents progress: survival, damage, or a missing system requirement. Put the next affordable upgrade there.

Common constraints and solutions:

• Heroes dying too fast → Prison upgrades for better base stats

• Level cap blocking progression → Temple upgrades

• Gear quality stagnating → Workshop renovations

• General power insufficient → Worshipper Infusion

Priority order for town systems

Tier 1 - Prison (First): Upgrade before recruiting heroes. Affects all future recruits permanently.

Tier 2 - Worshipper Infusion (Always): Pour all spare gold, blood, and bone here. Only upgrade that never becomes obsolete—applies account-wide forever.

Tier 3 - Temple (Before Baptisms): Raise level cap and reduce Ancient Blood costs before spending on individual Baptisms.

Tier 4 - Workshop (When needed): Upgrade when gear is the bottleneck. Unlock Embedding before socketing runes.

Tier 5 - Market (Convenience): Improve buy/sell prices. Nice to have but not progression-critical.

Use a simple priority

In general, secure the objective, fix repeated failures, improve the active party, then invest in optional power. The exact order changes with the Monolith task.

Decision flowchart:

1. Can you complete current Monolith objective? If no, upgrade what blocks it.

2. Are heroes dying in combat? If yes, upgrade Prison or improve gear.

3. Is damage insufficient? If yes, Worshipper Infusion or Temple upgrades.

4. Have spare resources? Pour into Worshipper Infusion.

Leave room for the next ask

Do not empty every resource account after one clear. Keeping a reserve gives you options when the next objective points to Forge, Banishment, or Baptism.

Recommended reserves:

• Gold: Enough for 2-3 Prison upgrades

• Ancient Blood: Enough for 1-2 Baptisms after next Temple upgrade

• Sacred Bones: Enough for next Workshop renovation

• Always maintain emergency stock for surprise Monolith objectives
